At Natalie's school they had red ribbon drug awareness week. For the "drugs don't mix" day they wore mismatch clothing.

Texas Pumpkin Patch

Sorry these entries are out of order but it's all Fall/Autum/Harvest. So close enough. ( :

This was the long dirt road to the pumpkin patch. I was sorry I had just gotten the car washed the day before. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. Warm, sunny and windy.

As most of you know from the news coverage we had a really wet spring and summer. I guess that ruined nearly all of the pumpkin patches. Most were closed but a couple ordered pumpkins and tried to make it work.

The patch that we went to had a "train ride" tractor pulling wagons decorated to look like trains.

Next we rode the hay ride minus the hay to the christmas tree area where they had a "pumpkin hunt." Yes, you know you're in Texas when you hunt for your pumpkins.

Be vewy vewy quiet....... We're hunting pumpkins... SHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhh!
