We went along w/ one of our smaller play groups to the Waco Zoo. 
Again our family w/ heads in cutouts and cameras ready.

This was a neat recycled interactive art piece. The girls really enjoyed it.

Poor Lily gets so hot. We didn't realize it was going to be such a hot day and didn't have a hat for her. We improvised this look and later she put ice cubes and bottled water on her head until she was all cooled off and having a good time again.
Have to give a little plug for the Step 2 wagon. Not only does it hold a ton of weight but it really lasts. We purchased this one in Oregon when Lily was a baby and have definitely gotten our money's worth. So if anyone is looking for a shower gift for someone that has everything.... Here ya go!
The newest exhibit at the zoo was the Brazos River area. The girls had a great time playing in the shade of the teepee's.
They had the coolest sea otter exhibit. The slide goes right through the middle of the tank. I think if you ask the girls about the sea otters they would probably say, "What otters? I didn't see any otters!"
We stopped on the way out for a nice cool ice cream treat! Can you see the joy?!?!?
